Providers stay in control, buyers see exactly what they rent, and every byte travels the same path — through the gateway, never around it.
Install the agent on a PC or mini-PC. It dials out to RYC over an encrypted connection — no open ports, no inbound access to your network.
The device shows up in your dashboard, where you name it and set how many instances it can host and how big. It stays yours — retire it whenever you want.
Buyers choose by reputation, reliability, and price. Usage is metered at the gateway, and buyer traffic reaches the device through the RYC gateway.

Questions, answered plainly
Best-effort capacity is interruptible by design: if the provider's device goes offline, the instance goes with it. Run fault-tolerant work here, and choose Committed or Verified offerings when a workload needs stronger expectations.
Every rental runs in its own slice — MicroVM isolation on tier 1 and 2 offerings, Sandbox isolation on tier 3. Slices keep tenants apart on shared provider hardware.
Buyer traffic enters the RYC gateway and reaches the device over an outbound reverse tunnel the device opens. We measure instance-hours and egress at the gateway, and those gateway measurements are the numbers billing uses.
Manually. During the invite period nothing is charged automatically — we invoice buyers directly and arrange provider payouts directly. The console still shows every rental; usage verification happens at the gateway.
